I got the device along with a couple of accessories. The case is fine and feels decent enough, but the cable and stand don’t feel as sturdy as I’d hoped, especially for the price. They’re working so far, so it’s not a total miss, but they just don’t feel as nice as I expected. I was also a bit annoyed because the communication wasn’t very clear about what to expect with the items, so that didn’t help. Shipping was average. Giving it 3 stars because the basics are there, but the accessories could definitely be better.

I really wanted to like this, but the device feels sluggish overall. Apps take forever to open, or at least it feels that way when you’re just trying to check something quickly — and scrolling stutters more than I expected. Maybe I’m just impatient, but it got annoying fast. Not really worth it for me

I was trying to buy one, but every time I check, in stock it’s not. Kind of frustrating because it’s exactly the stuff I wanted.

The pricing seemed fair to me, and the value was a bit better than I was expecting. Overall, I’d say it was a good deal

The battery has been good for me. I’ll use it on and off throughout the day, messages, some scrolling, random stuff, and most days it makes it through without me stressing about it. Charging does feel a little slow sometimes, like when I suddenly realize I need to leave soon and it’s not as topped up as I hoped, but that’s more of a small annoyance than a dealbreaker. Overall, I’m happy with it.

I tried setting it up the same day I got it, which was probably the worst timing because I was already short on patience. Still, the setup felt way more confusing than it needed to be. The instructions weren’t super clear, and I kept having to backtrack and guess what the next step was. I ordered from Daylightcomputer expecting something smoother. Maybe it works fine once everything’s up and running, but getting there was a hassle. I wouldn’t recommend it if you’re looking for something easy right out of the box.

I got this mostly for writing, it feels like I’ve dragged my brain out of the chaos and into a quiet little cave. The screen is super easy on the eyes, even when I’ve been typing for ages, and I’m not constantly being lured away by random tabs like usual.
It’s definitely not pretending to be a regular laptop, and that’s kind of the whole magic trick. For notes, drafts, and those rare moments when I actually want to focus like a serious human being, it’s been really great for me.

Most of my apps worked just fine, and overall it was a smooth experience. I didn’t run into any major issues...

It’s okay overall, but the case does creak a little and the buttons feel kind of loose, haha. I was expecting it to feel a bit sturdier.

I had a question about my order and customer support did end up helping me out. It took a little longer than I would’ve liked to hear back, and I’m sure other customers probably feel the same when they’re waiting on an update, but the person I spoke with was friendly and got everything sorted

From what I remember, the shipping was smooth overall. The package arrived safely and everything was in good shape. It did show up about a day later than I thought it would, but it wasn’t a big deal.

I wasn’t expecting the touch to be this quick. Taps and swipes happen almost instantly, and so far I haven’t noticed any weird lag or missed touches. It makes reading and moving around feel way smoother. Not gonna lie, it’s almost suspicious how responsive it is, like they’ve been hiding this tech from us until now. Happy with it overall

I mainly bought this so I could work outside, it does a decent job in daylight. The screen is definitely easier to see than my laptop when I’m sitting in the sun, which is great. It’s not even about that part, really — the outdoor visibility is probably the best thing about it. My issue is more that it can feel a little slow here and there, and some apps don’t behave the way I expected. Battery life is fine, nothing amazing but not bad either. Overall, it’s useful if you really want something for outdoor work, but for the price, I was hoping it would feel a bit more polished.

After using it for a bit, my first impression is that the design feels bland. It works fine, but visually it doesn’t really stand out or give me much to get excited about...

I got tired of squinting and messing with angles every time I tried to use my laptop in daylight. This screen is way easier to read outside, and my eyes don’t feel nearly as strained compared to my old laptop.

I mainly got this because regular screens have been wearing my eyes out lately, especially after a long day. I was hoping it would make reading and writing feel a little less harsh, it does help with that.

The screen is definitely easier to look at, especially at night when I’m just reading or typing something up and don’t want that bright glare blasting at me. It kind of reminds me of reading on paper, not exactly, but close enough that I notice the difference. I keep thinking I should use it more for notes too, though then I end up checking something else and forget what I opened it for.

That said, it’s not perfect. Some apps feel a little slow or awkward, and I didn’t realize how much I’d miss color until it wasn’t there. For eye comfort, I do think it helps, but as an everyday device, I’m still a bit torn. Three stars feels about right to me.

I’ve been really happy with how light this is. I can toss it in my bag with my notebook and charger, and it still doesn’t feel like I’m hauling around a brick, which is a small miracle.

I’m usually bouncing between home, a cafe, and the office, so the weight actually makes a difference for me. The Daylight computer is easy to grab and use wherever I end up, and that’s kind of the whole appeal. Not much more to overthink here, it’s just really portable, and I like that

I felt a little embarrassed trying to show it to someone because syncing took forever and a couple of settings didn’t even save properly. The updates have felt buggy too. It does work sometimes, but for the price, I expected it to feel a lot smoother. Hopefully they get the software cleaned up soon.

Browsing works fine most of the time. Pages load without too much drama, but the scrolling feels a little sluggish, and some tabs act like they’re taking their sweet time for no clear reason. Maybe it’s just performance stuff… or maybe the browser knows exactly when I’m paying attention and decides to slow things down. Either way, it’s usable for basic browsing, just not as smooth as I’d hoped.

Overall the WiFi works well for me. It’s usually fine for browsing and streaming, but every now and then it’ll drop for a bit, which is annoying. I’m not sure if it’s the router or just the internet being weird, but since it works most of the time I’d still say it’s good.
